We’ve just gotten back from our antiquing road trip to Adelaide, and I’m pretty exhausted after what seems like a lifetime in the passenger seat of a car but ecstatic with the fruits we acquired. Needless to say for those who follow my instagram, I bought up pretty huge on the trip and have a lot of work ahead of me, but it is so so worth it for the beauties I found!
We found Adelaide a little bland, but we did stay in a pretty hilarious hotel just out of the city with an amazing faux-grand staircase and lobby where we took these pictures before heading into the city for a drink. Shout-out to the bartender at Clever Little Tailor who made me some super strong whiskey sours which resulted in the night becoming a little hazy. To be honest I was wishing we could have stayed in the hotel as there was the most amazing looking 80 year old’s birthday party in the Art Deco function room downstairs, but I felt it wouldn’t have been kosher to gatecrash a seniors event.
I’ve got a lot of unpacking to do, but I’ll be sure to post some of my great steals soon!
